When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and profile picture via Google OAuth. We also collect learning activity data: which units you've viewed, quiz scores, code exercises run, and study streak information.
Your data is used solely to provide the Magdalene Lab learning experience — tracking your progress, calculating streaks, and showing your dashboard. We do not use your data for advertising.
We use Supabase (database and authentication, hosted on AWS Mumbai) and Vercel (website hosting). Your data is stored in India-region servers where possible.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for commercial purposes. If you are a school student, your teacher may see your progress data within the class portal.
Your data is retained for the duration of your account. You may request deletion at any time by emailing us — we will permanently delete your account and all associated data within 7 days.
Magdalene Lab is designed for students aged 13 and above. If a student under 13 creates an account, a parent or guardian must provide consent. Please contact us if you believe a child under 13 has created an account without consent.
